ABOUT HEAL
Heal is a new organization founded in January 2024 by Steve Sosebee who also founded the Palestine Children's Relief Fund three decades ago in 1991.
HEAL stands for Health, Education, Aid and Leadership.
Right now the focus is on helping Gaza.
ABOUT THE METABOLIC HEALTH DRIVE
Our purpose is to help improve the health and welfare of children in Palestine while also improving our own. It's a win-win for all of us.
Members of the Metabolic Health Drive ask their friends and family to sponsor them in any or all of the following:
- Weight Loss
- Decrease in Waist Circumference
- Reduction in Blood Pressure (if needed)
- Lowering of A1c Plasma Glucose if over 5.6%
- Lowering of Fasting Plasma Triglycerides if over 100
- Raising of HDL Cholesterol Level if under 50
- Lowering of Triglyceride/HDL Ratio, if over 2
- Lowering of fasting insulin if over 7
