As I approach this special day of mine, I reflect on the incredible strength and resilience shown by the people of Gaza. Their courage inspires me daily.

I commemorate this half century of my life in remembrance of those in need.

Our common humanity binds us and compels us to take a stand for truth, for love, and for justice, of the Divine kind.

May our love be one step ahead of our pain, and the engine that dismantles all systems of oppression. May the deep suffering and despair of our fellow human act as catalyst for a revolution of consciousness.

Thank you for choosing to honour my birthday at this time and in support of HEAL Palestine whose incredible work on the ground is making marked, tangible differences to so many.
