My amazing library colleagues met the original goal of one tent, ($387) within just one afternoon, so I've bumped the goal up to two tents, for 2 families of 6-8 people each, To help get them through the winter in a sheltered place. Across Gaza, families have been uprooted again and again with very few safe places to stay. The UN estimates about 1.9 million people—roughly 90% of the population—are internally displaced, many multiple times. Schools that once served as shelters are largely unusable. About 97% of school buildings have sustained damage and need major repairs or full reconstruction. At the same time, food insecurity and disease risks are rising fast.

We have 6,000 family tents ready for delivery from Ramallah into Gaza, with distribution prioritized for the most vulnerable households. Each gift covers both the tent and delivery, so help reaches families quickly and fairly.

HEAL is preparing the logistics for delivering and setting up the tents to reduce the impact of the current mass displacement campaign.
