Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters of Justice,
The world is facing an unprecedented crisis in Gaza. Everyone is accountable for the outcome and faced with one of the most important questions of our lifetime: Will we allow another holocaust to happen again? This is a pivotal moment in human history and the world must say never again we will allow children to be victims of genocide.
Several years ago, I had the profound opportunity to visit the West Bank, specifically Hebron — just 30 miles outside of Gaza. What I witnessed and experienced there changed me forever. The people, the land, the culture, the resilience — they left a deep imprint on my heart. That journey was more than a visit; it was a life-changing experience that reshaped the way I see the world.
Today, I’m reaching out not simply because of what I saw years ago, but because of what is happening right now.
This is not about politics or taking sides. This is not about religion, class, ethnicity, or borders. This is about human dignity. This is about preserving humanity — the basic, undeniable truth that all children deserve to live in safety, with food, clean water, and shelter. Regardless of what anyone believes about the complexities of Israel and Palestine, we must agree on this: children have a right to exist peacefully.
What’s happening in Gaza today is a humanitarian catastrophe. Innocent children are suffering. Many have lost their homes, their families, and the very sense of security we often take for granted. And time is running out.
That’s why I’ve chosen to take part in a fundraiser dedicated to delivering urgent humanitarian aid to children in Palestine. This includes food, water, medical care, and psychological support. These are essentials — not luxuries — and they are needed now.
I’m asking for your support — not just as someone who cares about Palestine, but as someone who believes in our shared humanity. What’s happening there could happen anywhere. No child, anywhere in the world, should face war, starvation, or despair. We must act before more lives are lost.
Please consider donating. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing on the side of humanity.
With hope and urgency,
Joy
